Healthy Aging Education Series
In partnership with the Victoria Order of Nurses through the Senior’s Community Grant Program.
The sessions are suitable for older adults, their caregivers, and anyone interested in learning about health in the context of aging.
Part 1: Physical Activity
In this workshop, participants will learn about the importance of physical activity while aging, and will learn and practice exercises to improve and maintain balance and strength.
April 7th from 1:00 – 2:00 pm
Part 2: Mental Health
In this workshop, participants will learn about how to optimize brain health throughout aging, with an emphasis on mental health.
April 14th from 1:00 – 2:00 pm
Part 3: Nutrition
In this workshop, participants will learn about the importance of nutrition while aging, and practical nutrition strategies to incorporate into daily life.
April 21st from 1:00 – 2:00 pm
